At our next meeting will be a Discussion of: "Embracing Life As It Is: Lessons From Wabi-Sabi, Haiku, and Zen" with Authors Alan Gettis and Carl Genjo Bachmann. We’re pleased to welcome members of Heart Circle Sangha and Clear Mountain Zendo to this months exploration.

  • An email reminder will be sent to you prior to the event.

  • In the event of inclement weather and cancellation, you will be notified via email

  • Empty Bowl address, parking info and access to building are noted on the Empty Bowl website under the heading of: Your First Sit

  • There will be some copies of the book available for purchase that day but you are encouraged to purchase the book in advance

  • We are asking for a donation to this event, with proceeds to go to St. Judes

  • You are encouraged to bring any haiku or wabi-sabi writings you may have to share during our practice circle
