Add an art practice to your Zen program. Empty Bowl offers a Japanese-type calligraphy class to anyone in the local Zen community that is interested. Going forward, classes will be scheduled for the 4th Saturday of the month from 8:00-9:30am in the Zendo. Classes will always be announced in an eblast.  Supplies can be provided for first timer “curiosity seekers”.  Previous experience or knowledge of Chinese characters is not necessary.  We have had about a dozen classes over the last few years, and program veterans have made real progress. Instruction is individualized. Suggested contribution is $10.
