Sesshin means to gather together or unify mind and heart. It is a time for us to turn inward, intensify and expand our individual practice by taking our practice into our everyday life, work, family and relationship with the greater community.

In this fast paced world of work and family, it is essential that we make time to slow down in order to work with the life we have. Zen practice is life practice. It is about helping us awaken to a life that is vibrant and authentic. Insight alone is insufficient if not embodied in how we work, love, and live our everyday life of relationship, and everything is relationship.  This sesshin asks us to integrate our practice in our daily life and activities.

Sesshin will be held at Empty Bowl Zendo, Church of the Redeemer, 36 South Street, Morristown NJ
