FEBRUARY ZAZENKAI: ZEN COMMUNITY HALF-DAY INTENSIVE
Zazenkai is an opportunity to practice meditation for an extended period of time. We will offer zazen, walking meditation and encouraging words. It is a wonderful opportunity to deepen our practice in community with others. Registration is $10. To sign up and register, please use EBZ's shared Google Sheets spreadsheet LINK. If you have never been to a zazenkai or have any questions about Google Sheets, contact Ron Manning firstname.lastname@example.org. To help the organizers, please be mindful that the deadline for registration is Wednesday, Feb 7. We hope you will join us. For registration, payment options, and parking information, link to the Zazenkai tab.
Sesshin is a time where we can turn our light inward and move beyond the busyness of our world, re-connect to a more vast, quiet space inside, to realize and remember our true nature. Sesshin also affords us the ability to open to new possibilities beyond our fixed notions and beliefs, and to ready ourselves to be available for what is asked of us when we return to our life again. This sesshin we will join with Roshi Robert Kennedy of Morning Star Zendo and Sensei Carl Bachmann of Clear Mountain at beautiful Garrison Institute. In addition we will celebrate the lay dharma transmission for dharma holder and sangha mate, Michele Onryu Daniels. Further details will be forthcoming. To register go to: www.garrisoninstitute.org.
